E.C. Babbert, Inc. uses only the highest quality manhole steps on the market. The steps we provide in our precast structures will either be American Step Company or M.A. Industries manhole steps. Both are made of tough steel rein-forced copolymer propylene.
American Step Company Manhole Steps
American Step Company Manhole Steps are made of tough steel rein-forced copolymer propylene. Made of a super high impact grade of copolymer poly-propylene, American Step Company manhole steps exhibit both excellent cold impact resistance and high rigidity.
M.A. Industries Step
With the invention of the steel reinforced copolymer polypropylene manhole step in 1969 by M.A. Industries, the M.A. Step became the standard against which all other manhole steps are measured. Our Manhole Steps withstand a vertical load test of 800 lbs and pullout strength is well over 400 lbs. M.A. Steps will withstand Impact Testing of up to 300 ft lbs with only minor deflection and no cracking or breaking.
